Stephanie Villalobos completed her RYT 200 at the Santosha Yoga Institute in Bali, Indonesia (2018). After years of taking yoga classes in the San Francisco Bay Area, and experiencing yoga’s positive effects first hand, she wished to share the gifts she received from the practice such as: stillness of mind, body awareness, physical and mental strength, with others. While diet, nutrition, and physical exercise all play essential roles in well being, she holds a holistic view of health in that a healthy body must also include a healthy mind. She hopes to bring yoga to a wide range of people and communities, and firmly believes that yoga can be practiced by everyone regardless of age or ability. A former elementary school teacher and postpartum doula, she is a nurturer at heart, and hopes to create a comfortable and welcoming environment in all of her classes.
